Our story

FinnTech Heating is a focused provider of heat pump services in Ireland. My background is in Field Service for the industrial sector with over 30 Years of experience. I recently decided to dedicate my expertise to the domestic sector, specialising in heat pump technology, to do my bit for the betterment of emission reductions. My previous skills were instantly transferrable to this technology. I have a proven track record for a dedicated work ethic and commitment for the best possible customer satisfaction. My mission is to deliver exceptional service and aftercare to all my clients.

Our history

My name is Mick and I started a new company in 2025 to focus on the maintenance of heat pumps for the domestic sector. Traditionally the installation of heat pump's has been done by plumbers but the after care of a heat pump typically requires an understanding of the vapour compression cycle and specific training from the manufacturer.

Throughout 2025 I upskilled on NZEB fundamentals, Ventilation and QQI NFQ Level 6 training on heat pump technology. I attended onsite training and online training for several manufacturers to get the specifics for different makes. This allows me to service every system as the manufacturer designed them rather than a one for all approach.
